Menken-Schaudt from
Jefferson, Oregon
arrived at Oregon
State University,
via Linn-Benton
Community College,
with no fanfare, but
became one of the
greatest players in
Oregon Basketball
history. In the 1984
Los Angeles
Olympics, as the
starting center she
led the U.S. team to
Gold Medal. At OSU
she was selected as
the MVP in 1979 and
1980.0In 1981, she
was the national
college leader in

and fourth in
scoring (29.6
average). She leads
the OSU career
record book in free
throws made (333),
free throws
attempted (551),
field goals made
(955). Field goal
