North Medford

Dane Arispe’s achievements include athletics and academics. Dane lettered in varsity track and fi eld for three years at North Medford High School where he was a T&C state qualifi er. In his senior year, he qualified for three events including triple jump which he was the conference champion; long jump, where he holds his high school record; and the 4 x 100 relay in which his team ran the second fastest time in school history. He was also on North’s Varsity Football team for three years, recognized as a ‘Most Improved Player.’ He has maintained a 3.9 GPA throughout high school, and earned 20 college credits in French, achieving the highest NMHS 2008 exam score. He is planning to study medicine, and has already gotten a great start by volunteering this spring at the Rogue Valley Medical Center. This fall, he is planning to major in science at Portland State University.
